Kody Jones is apparently still considering his options.

Jones, a 4-star DB commitment for Michigan, took an unofficial visit to Illinois this weekend, according to 247Sports’ Jeremy Werner.

Jones is from Germantown, Tennessee. He’s currently the No. 321 overall player in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’s been committed to Michigan since February. He chose the Wolverines over offers from programs like Auburn, Arkansas, Florida and Florida State.

Jones was treated to a good game while he was in Champaign. The Illini defeated Charlotte 24-14 and were dominant in the second half. Running back Chase Brown rushed for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Michigan’s 2022 recruiting class is amongst the best in the country. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, it’s currently No. 14 nationally and No. 3 in the Big Ten. With Jones included, Michigan has 18 commitments so far in this cycle.
