It appears that voluntary workouts may be on the horizon for the Michigan football program.

According to a report from 247Sports, Michigan’s summer enrollees are expected to arrive on campus on June 15. There has been no confirmation whether or not voluntary team activities will be resuming at that time.

A handful of B1G programs have already set return dates for student-athletes, as the NCAA’s moratorium on organized team activities ended on June 1. It appears that the conference and the association are allowing schools to return at their own pace and on their own schedules.

Per 247Sports, the June 15 arrival date is not far removed from the original date in which summer enrollees were expected to get on campus before the pandemic hit the country.

Michigan’s 2020 recruiting class was the second-best in the B1G and ranked No. 14 nationally. There are 14 players with a four-star rating in that recruiting class who will be new to the Wolverines roster.
