Report: Michigan QB signs NIL deal with cryptocurrency company
The new NIL rules are creating opportunities for college athletes across the nation. The latest is Michigan junior quarterback Cade McNamara.
McNamara signed a deal with More Management, LLC, a Los Angeles-based cryptocurrency company, according to MLive.com. McNamara will promote the company via social media and make appearances at live events.
McNamara will be getting paid in crypto, a currency that gained notoriety from Bitcoin. McNamara is thrilled to partner with the company.
“Couldn’t be more excited to join MORE,” McNamara said via MLive.com. “I am looking forward to learning more about crypto and being part of this great organization.”
MORE ahas relationships with recording artists such as Migos, Cardi B, 21 Savage, Saweetie, Rich the Kid and LilBaby.
The 6-foot-1 McNamara passed for 425 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions in his appearances last season.
Michigan open up the season with a home matchup on Sept. 4 vs. Western Michigan (12 p.m. EST/ESPN).
