Ric Flair donned some Michigan attire and released a video of himself hyping up Wolverine fans before their team’s game with Iowa later tonight.

The famed professional wrestler labeled Michigan as the team to beat in the country and ended his quick speech with a “Go Blue!” and on-brand “WOOOO!”. Flair is from Charlotte, North Carolina and is a Minnesota alumni, but he originally lived with his adopted family in Detroit when he moved in with them.

No. 2 Michigan (12-0, 9-0) will take on No. 16 Iowa (10-2, 7-2) at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. The winner will be awarded the Big Ten Championship, and Michigan would qualify for the College Football Playoff with a win. Iowa would likely be New Year’s Six bowl bound with a victory, while a loss would put them at risk of being left out of the premier bowl games. Michigan is also looking to win its third-straight Big Ten Championship in this game.

The Wolverines and Hawkeyes played against each other in the 2021 Big Ten Championship Game, with Michigan coming out on top 42-3. The teams also had the same records in that contest.
