RJ Moten may have just produced the final nail in the coffin for Maryland’s hopes of an upset on Saturday.

For much of the game, the Terrapins and Wolverines have battled back-and-forth in the Big House. A big touchdown by JJ McCarthy to Roman Wilson gave Michigan a double-digit lead in the fourth, but Taulia Tagovailoa was quick to produce an answer for the Terps.

After kicking a field goal, Michigan sent the ball back to Tagovailoa and the offense. The Terrapins were trying to mount another touchdown drive to potentially tie the game, but Moten had other ideas.

On Tagovailoa’s throw into double coverage, Moten initially tipped the ball into the air with one hand before reeling in the ridiculous interception. While DJ Turner’s pick had a bit of controversy, Moten’s was all clean.

We’ll see if Michigan can ice things away from here.
