There’s plenty to argue about here, but many viewed his omission of Michigan as the greatest offense. On Monday, Young explained why he left the Wolverines out on his podcast, The Number One Ranked Show.
“You’re basing their preseason ranking on a banner last year. Outstanding last year for Michigan.” Young said.

The College Football 2022 AP Poll was released Monday, with the Wolverines coming in at No. 8, perhaps necessitating this clip from Young. Michigan returns a decent amount of its offense, but just a few starters on defense from a team that made the college football playoff last season.
