Rod Moore reportedly makes decision on future at Michigan
Rod Moore has reportedly made a decision regarding his future at Michigan.
The star defensive back has decided to return to Ann Arbor for the 2025 season instead of entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Moore missed the entire 2024 season after suffering a torn ACL in spring practice. Now, the DB will get a chance to play one more season of games with the Wolverines.

Moore originally came to Michigan in the class of 2021. The DB starred for Northmont High School in Clayton, OH, and was rated as a 3-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite ranking.
That ranking also had Moore as the No. 40 safety and the No. 17 player out of Ohio in the 2021 class. Moore picked Michigan over offers from Cincinnati, Notre Dame, and Pitt, among others.
In 2021, Moore collected 32 tackles and 1 pass deflection as a freshman. As a sophomore in 2022, Moore exploded on the scene with 71 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 4 interceptions. For the title-winning 2023 team, Moore contributed 38 tackles, 1 TFL, and 2 INTs.
Keeping Moore in town is a huge win for the Wolverines. The secondary is losing Will Johnson, Quinten Johnson, Makari Paige, and Aamir Hall, so Moore will be looked to as a key veteran and leader.
