Roman Wilson among early standouts at Reese's Senior Bowl
Roman Wilson is headed to the NFL after a major season for Michigan. Now, he’s at the Reese’s Senior Bowl and leaving a major impact on scouts to begin the draft process.
According to ESPN’s team of NFL analysts, Wilson was among the top risers at Tuesday’s first practice of the week. Wilson was described as “unguardable” throughout Tuesday with success in one-on-one matchups and during the 11-on-11 team portion.

Among other aspects, Wilson received high marks as a route-runner in Mobile. That buzz continued into Wednesday where Wilson was once again tabbed as “a standout” during the early session.
Wilson’s early performance has already been described as “Tank Dell-like,” a former Houston receiver who rose into the 3rd round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Wilson was regarded as a Round 4 player entering the draft process but could rise into a Day 2 pick as a second or third-round selection.
Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy compared Wilson to Seattle Seahawks star Tyler Lockett. After the first day of the week, Nagy says he’s feeling even better about his comparison for Wilson.
Michigan’s Roman Wilson making me feel better about my Tyler Lockett comp yesterday. Dude is so underrated right now. @seniorbowl week will change that. 📈#TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️ pic.twitter.com/ijDUU93v7r
