Roman Wilson heads to locker room following catch on opening drive of Fiesta Bowl
Roman Wilson is a player that was needed to be a key playmaker for Michigan’s offense in the VRBO Fiesta Bowl against TCU. In the first drive of the game, Wilson sustained an injury and was heading into the locker room after an early catch.
Wilson was apparently injured on the 9-yard catch from quarterback J.J. McCarthy in the first drive of the game.

Wilson entered the game as the fourth-leading pass-catcher for the Wolverines as he has caught 20 receptions for 272 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Michigan’s offense is struggling significantly early in the College Football Playoff semifinal game against TCU. The Wolverines have only accumulated 76 total yards and 2 first downs in their first 3 drives of the game. McCarthy threw a pick-6 in Michigan’s second drive of the game.
Fortunately, Wilson was seen running out of the locker room and getting back on the sidelines after TCU scored a second touchdown of the game. Hopefully, Wilson can stay on the field for the rest of the game.
