Michigan wide receiver Roman Wilson had a special moment early in the game versus Hawaii as he got the first touchdown of the game on a 42-yard touchdown play from quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Roman was recruited out of high school from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Wilson is in his third season with Michigan as a junior. In Michigan’s 51-7 home win over Colorado State in Week 1, Wilson recorded 2 receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.
Before the Week 2 game against Hawaii, Wilson has caught 36 receptions for 607 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Wilson came to Michigan as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class as he was rated as the 60th rated wide receiver and the 3rd rated player from the state of Hawaii, according to 247Sports Composite.
Wilson later added to his touchdown total with another big strike against Hawaii. He’s well on his way to a massive outing in Week 2.
