Ronnie Bell draws comparison to current Detroit Lions WR during Senior Bowl workouts
Ronnie Bell is at the Reese’s Senior Bowl this week and is looking to impress NFL teams. During one-on-one workouts on Tuesday, Bell drew comparisons to one NFL receiver with a 1,000-yard season in 2022.
According to NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah, Bell reminds him a bit “of (an) Amon-Ra St. Brown vibe” when he watches the Michigan product on the field. St. Brown posted career-high numbers and led the Detroit Lions with 106 catches for 1,161 yards and 6 receiving touchdowns during the season. He also posted 95 rushing yards as a versatile product for Detroit.

Bell also provided a sight that will give a bit of joy to Wolverine fans everywhere. He burned Ohio State’s Ronnie Hickman with a sharp route and long catch-and-run during the workout.

For his career in Ann Arbor, Bell finished with 145 catches for 2,269 yards and 9 receiving touchdowns. He also produced some electric moments in the return game.
We’ll see where Bell winds up to begin his NFL career, but it looks like he’s doing enough to help his stock in Mobile.
