Ronnie Bell finishes 11-play opening drive for Michigan as Iowa gives up first rushing TD of 2022
Ronnie Bell scored Michigan’s first touchdown against Iowa as the Wolverines marched down the field on their opening drive. Michigan’s offense is playing well so far.
The Wolverines had an 11-play drive to start off the game. The drive was 75 yards.
Bell scored on a reverse that went for 16 yards. Bell is looking like his old self after missing the 2021 season with an ACL injury.

J.J. McCarthy is looking like he’s been handling the away crowd at Kinnick Stadium well so far. McCarthy had 34 yards passing and went 3-for-4 on the first drive.
Blake Corum is leading the way on the ground, as expected. The Michigan RB had 19 yards rushing on 4 carries.
McCarthy targeted Roman Wilson a lot on the drive. Wilson is currently leading all wideouts with 21 yards receiving.
The Michigan defense was able to stop the Iowa offense on their opening drive and has the ball back with a lot of time left in the game.
