Ronnie Bell and Michigan needed every bit of the game clock to come away with the win in Week 12. Fortunately, the Wolverines escaped Illinois at 11-0 and can move on to Rivalry Weekend.

After the game, the star receiver for Michigan was asked about the impact of the win. According to Bell, Michigan is right where it wants to be with everyone on the line next weekend against Ohio State.

“Once the clock hits zero, this is what we’ve been striving for all year,” Bell explained. “11-0, to get there and play The Game, it’s all we wanted. Felt good, once the clock hits zero to get up out of here with a win and now we get to play a game we all want.”

Michigan heads into Week 13 as the reigning B1G champs and winners over Ohio State in 2021. Now, Michigan is looking for its first win in Columbus since 2000 and its first back-to-back wins over Ohio State since 1999-2000.
