Top 2017 center announces Michigan pledge with unique commitment video

Some said that Jim Harbaugh’s spring break practices in Florida were pointless.
Well, it certainly didn’t hurt him. After all, he did host Michigan’s practices at IMG Academy, which is one of the top prep programs in the country.
That just so happens to be where the top-rated 2017 center, Cesar Ruiz, attends school. And on Monday, he just so happened to commit to Michigan.

The four-star IMG product is the No. 58 player overall in the 2017 class. He ranks only behind No. 1 receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones and Dylan McCaffrey among Michigan’s 2017 commits.
The top-rated center is the fourth player ranked in 247sports’ top 124 recruits to commit to Michigan in the last two weeks. With Ruiz’s pledge, Michigan is now up to No. 4 in the 247sports rankings.
The Wolverines have as much recruiting momentum as any program in the country heading into the final six weeks of the recruiting cycle.
