Another Michigan quarterback has announce his intent to transfer from the program.
On Wednesday afternoon, backup quarterback Alex Malzone said he plans to graduate from the University of Michigan and transfer from the program. Malzone was a member of the Wolverines’ 2015 recruiting class and had been in Ann Arbor the last three seasons.
He made the announcement via Twitter and Instagram.

Malzone’s announcement comes just days after former starting quarterback Wilton Speight decided he would also leave the program.
Malzone was never able to move up the depth chart and is likely head to a place where more playing time is in his future, though no destination was mentioned.
With Speight and Malzone transferring and John O’Korn graduating, the starting job seems to be in the hands of Brandon Peters at the moment.
