Another member of the Patterson family has committed to Michigan, according to a report.
According to The Michigan Insider, Nick Patterson, the younger brother of quarterback Shea Paterson, has committed to Michigan. He’s a 3-star tight end in the 2020 recruiting class.
Patterson reportedly committed to the Wolverines this past weekend after spending time in Ann Arbor for his brother’s first home start with the program.
“I’ve been to a lot of different places… a lot of different schools. Right when I walked through the door I felt like it was different,” Patterson told The Michigan Insider. “It felt like home. It felt like family. I like how my brother has gotten better over the past few months there. I like my relationship with Jim Harbaugh and Coach Dudek. It just felt right. I just felt super comfortable. Way more comfortable than when I’ve talked to other coaches and been on other visits. It just felt like home.”
Patterson had seven offers in addition to Michigan, including Memphis, FIU, FAU and Dartmouth.
Michigan currently has four commitments in the 2020 class, which ranks 13th nationally according to 247Sports.
