Sherrone Moore is prepared for The Game as Michigan’s acting head coach for the rivalry matchup with Ohio State. During Saturday’s broadcast of ESPN College GameDay, Moore joined the show virtually from inside the Big House.

Moore touched on a wide array of topics, including Jim Harbaugh’s final message to the acting coach and Moore’s excitement for the matchup. He was also asked about JJ McCarthy’s recent performances and whether or not McCarthy is fully healthy.

Here is everything Moore had to say:

“Excited, ready to go, locked in, and just can’t wait to get things going.”

“I think our boys are prepared (in the trenches). Locked in, focused, physical and we’re ready to put it on display for America to see.”

Jim Harbaugh’s message?

“He just said love ya, do you, be you and great things are going to happen today.”

“The biggest thing is the trust in the staff… understanding that they’re going to do their job at a high level so it helps me do the jobs that I have to do. It’s been great, it’s been smooth so far and just excited for today.”

“It’s huge. (JJ McCarthy)’s a great player, he feels really good, we’re excited about him. We’re going to get him in rhythm early and let him go to work.”

Is McCarthy 100%?

“Yeah, he looks great.”
