Following the Jim Harbaugh recruiting circus has already been an event in itself.

Now, Michigan recruiting will become an official event.

The school announced that the Players’ Tribune and Carhartt will host a “Signing of the Stars” event on Feb. 3 at Hill Auditorium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will serve as a chance for the Wolverines to introduce the high school seniors who sign their National Letter of Intent to play at Michigan.

Michigan is encouraging donations to the Chad Tough Foundation in lieu of charging for tickets to the invitation-only event.

Jim Harbaugh will be in attendance, as will a “celebrity guest list.” The event will be live-streamed on the Players’ Tribune.

The Wolverines currently boast the third-ranked 2016 class in the 247sports rankings. Earlier on Friday, Michigan’s top target and consensus No. 1 recruit Rashan Gary, revealed that he’ll make his official announcement on CBS Sports Network on National Signing Day.

Michigan will look to put an exclamation point on the event by finishing the day with its first top-ranked recruiting class since 247sports introduced its ratings in 1999.
