The NFL is slowly releasing some of its primetime games on the 2022 schedule. One of more entertaining matchups over the last decade has just been announced on ‘Good Morning Football’

It’ll be another chapter of former Michigan QB Tom Brady vs Patrick Mahomes as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4 per Chris Rosvoglou of The Spun. Brady is 3-2 against Patrick Mahomes all-time, including a win against him in Super Bowl 55 at Raymond-James Stadium in Tampa.

Fans will get a chance to see the Chiefs without WR Tyreek Hill or S Tyrann Mathieu. Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins, while Mathieu signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent after not being re-signed by the Chiefs. New WR addition JuJu Smith-Schuster has been signed as Hill’s replacement from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For the Buccaneers, not too much has changed. The return of Chris Godwin from his ACL injury is still up in the air after the former Penn State WR sustained the injury in Week 15 of the 2021 season. Former Rutgers CB is also back together with Brady. The two played on the New England Patriots together for many seasons.

The matchup will take place on Oct. 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
