It’s official, Tom Brady is a Buccaneer.
Friday morning, Brady signed on the dotted line, making his switch from New England to Tampa Bay complete. This will mark the first time Brady will not be wearing a Patriots jersey in his 20-year NFL career.
Brady released a statement earlier this week, saying he was looking for a new home outside of New England. Tampa Bay was the favorite to land the six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. While there was a slight delay in the signing, it finally happened by the end of the week.
After signing with the Bucs, Brady released a statement on his social media pages.

Brady’s departure, while speculated throughout the 2019 season and into the offseason, was still somewhat of a surprise considering the incredible success he enjoyed as a Patriot. It’ll be interesting to see if Brady can win a Super Bowl with another franchise in the final years of his NFL career.
