Taylor Bump delivers clutch HR in 7th inning as Michigan downs top-seeded Northwestern
Michigan softball is moving on, advancing to the B1G Tournament Championship with a dramatic win against top-seed Northwestern on Friday. Down a single run entering the final frame, the Wolverines had the big hit when they needed it.
It came all the way down to Michigan’s final out of the game. Then, with a runner on second, Taylor Bump delivered.
Bump blasted a clean two-run shot out of left field for a 2-1 lead. It was Bump’s 2nd HR in as many games after she delivered a big blast in Thursday’s win over

The Wolverines worked a clean bottom of the 7th and will advance to Saturday’s championship game with a shot at the NCAA Tournament on the line.

The Wolverines will face Nebraska in the championship. The Huskers advanced after walking things off vs. Ohio State on Friday.
