Taylor Upshaw, former Michigan defender, reveals transfer commitment
Taylor Upshaw took to Twitter on Saturday night to announce his new school.
Upshaw will be heading out west to join Deion Sanders in Colorado. Upshaw played 4 seasons for the Michigan Wolverines, mostly in a reserve role on the defensive line.
Upshaw is just the latest player to join the Buffaloes, becoming the 20th transfer commit of the class.

Upshaw had his most productive season in 2022, seeing time in 14 games. The defensive lineman collected 12 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 INT.
Upshaw will help bolster a Buffaloes defense that finished 130th in the FBS in total defense, ahead of only South Florida. The 1-11 Buffaloes allowed over 500 yards per game in 2022.
Leonard Payne, Taijh Alston, and Shane Cokes are other defensive linemen committed to the Buffaloes for the 2023 season. Coach Prime’s hire at Colorado has given the Buffaloes the 3rd-ranked transfer class for 2023.
