Ted Lasso has won the attention of many fans. The show features a college football coach from America thrust into the manager’s role of a Premier League soccer club in England, and it has at least one prominent fan.
During Thursday’s media availability, Jim Harbaugh explained why he felt like Lasso at the press conference. “I feel like Ted Lasso with everyone saying their names and where they’re from,” said Harbaugh in regard to the reporters and their publications.
Asked about his overall impressions of the show, Harbaugh said it’s one of his favorites, along with The Rockford Files. The head coach of the Wolverines also appreciates that there’s a takeaway from every episode of the show.
“Just everything, everything’s perfect. My favorite TV show, right up there with The Rockford Files,” Harbaugh explained. “There’s a lesson really in every show, whether it’s a life lesson or a coaching lesson. That’s what I take from the show Ted Lasso.”

We’ll have to see if Harbaugh can land a meet-and-greet with Jason Sudeikis, the actor behind the iconic Lasso, if the Wolverines win the national title this season.
