Michigan basketball is off to an up-and-down start to the season, but it’s time for Wolverines football to take center stage.

This weekend is Rivalry Week across college football, and there is none better than The Game between Michigan and Ohio State. Unfortunately for the Wolverines, the series has been all Buckeyes for the better part of a decade, but this year’s team remains intent on changing that.

As if the rivalry needed any more juice, the B1G East is on the line with bigger postseason implications in play. The winner of Saturday’s game would likely be in line for a trip to the College Football Playoff with a B1G Championship Game win in Indianapolis.

The Wolverines will have one special fan in The Big House Saturday cheering them on, and that’s none other than men’s basketball coach Juwan Howard. Following Wednesday’s win over Tarleton, Howard said he will be on hand for the rivalry and said he feels like the 12th man:

“They’re gonna need me out there,” said Howard. “I’m going to be out there loud, lose my voice because I am coming with the energy. I don’t know if there’s a 12th man in football, but I feel like I’m the 12th man.”

Michigan has also announced that DJ Skee will be in the stadium and performing throughout the contest. The atmosphere is bound to be a good one, and the Wolverines hope it pays off in a big win.
