Since declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft, Devin Bush has been in the conversation as a first-round selection. His unique skill-set and status as the B1G Defensive Player and Linebacker of the Year put in the discussion as one of the top players available at his position.

And somehow, Bush was able to elevate his stock even more at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis over the weekend. After posting impressive numbers during the drills, NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay listed the former Michigan linebacker as one of the three most impressive players in attendance.

The other two were DK Metcalf and Montez Sweat.

Entering the combine, there was an expectation that LSU’s Devin White would solidify his spot as the top linebacker available in this year’s draft. But Bush’s stature and athleticism kept him on pace with the former SEC star, forcing teams to think about which player has the most upside.

Here’s what McShay had to say about all three players that impressed him most in Indianapolis:

Bush told reporters at the NFL Combine that he was just having fun and didn’t put any added pressure on himself to perform well. It seems that mindset worked.

During his three seasons in Ann Arbor, he registered 193 tackles, including 19 for loss and 14 pass break-ups.
