Tom Brady is not the only Buccaneer to receive weekly 'maintenance day,' per HC Todd Bowles
Tom Brady is not the only Tampa Bay Buccaneer to receive a weekly maintenance day, per head coach Todd Bowles. Others, such as veteran receiver Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Lavonte David have assigned days with no practice as well.
The Michigan alum will not be practicing on Wednesdays for the remainder of the season. Evans’ day is Thursday while Godwin and David will have the day off on Fridays.
Bucs coach Todd Bowles confirmed an earlier report that Tom Brady takes a maintenance day every Wednesday. Chris Godwin has one on Thursday while Mike Evans and Lavonte David do not practice on Friday. “It’s not just (Brady). We have designated days off after games,” Bowles said

Brady is nearing 45 years old and still slinging it among the best athletes on the planet. Who’s really opposed to him taking a day off.
I mean, it’s not like he needs that extra day of practice.
