Tom Brady responds to rumors about future as NFL broadcaster
Tom Brady is no stranger to rumors, having been in the national spotlight for the past quarter-century now.
But instead of responding to rumors regarding his playing career, when he’s going to finally retire or if he’s going to play until he’s 50, Brady now deals with rumors that involve his new career in broadcasting. During an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Wednesday, Cowherd was given a definitive answer from Brady when the subject of his time as a broadcaster was brought up.
Cowherd gave Brady the chance to answer rumors that the 7-time Super Bowl champion was going to leave the FOX NFL broadcast booth after just 1 season. Brady shot back forcefully (and with a laugh), just like he did during his playing days.
“I’ve loved kind of just the whole process and diving into all these different teams,” said the former Michigan star. “It’s been a lot of growth for me in one year. And I really can’t see, can’t wait to see what it looks like in Year 2 and way beyond that, too. So, I got 9 years left on my deal. Maybe longer. You never know. If FOX wants me and I want to go, we’ll just keep going because it’s been really fun thus far.”

Brady said he wished he could’ve played football for his entire life, but that 23 years of taking hits was long enough. Now, he’s got the broadcast gig as well as his role as a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
