Tom Brady sets Tampa Bay Buccaneers record during regular-season finale
Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get a chance to defend their Super Bowl title this season after a 13-4 regular season. To get there, Brady set a franchise and personal record during Sunday’s season finale.
Against the Carolina Panthers, Brady went 29-for-37 passing for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns without a turnover. That led Tampa Bay to a 41-17 win to wrap up the season.
Along the way, Brady eclipsed 5,000 yards for the season. He also set Tampa Bay’s franchise record after eclipsing Jameis Winston’s previous mark of 5,109 passing yards.
With his 24-yard completion to Breshad Perriman at 0:43 of the 2nd quarter, Tom Brady set the Buccaneers single season Pass Yds record.

By the time the game was over, Brady finished the regular season with 5,309 yards. That is a new personal record, passing his previous career-high of 5,235 yards in 2011.

Now at 44-years-old, it remains to be seen when – or if – Brady ever decides to slow down and call it quits.
