The coaching carousel is hitting full swing as we head into the final weeks of the regular season, and one top prospect is keeping his options open for the future.

Domani Jackson, a 5-star recruit and top-10 prospect nationally for 2022 made the move to re-open his recruitment  Sunday evening. He decommitted from USC in the process.

“After a lot of thinking and talking with my family, I have decided that it is in my best interest to decommit from USC,” wrote Jackson on Twitter.

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Jackson is the No. 2 cornerback nationally and the No. 6 player regardless of position in the country. He is also rated the top player out of California for the cycle.

Jackson had committed to USC in January but was also considering Michigan and Alabama, per his 247 Sports page. He has made official visits to Alabama and Michigan this fall, and it will be interesting to see where he lands on Signing Day.
