Tre Donaldson sends Iowa defender to the floor with nasty move, layup
Tre Donaldson just pulled out the Shammgod against Iowa Saturday afternoon.
The Auburn transfer, who has been a nice find in the portal for Michigan this season, pulled out a simply disgusting move to get by and Iowa defender, sending him to the floor as Donaldson finished an easy layup.

Donaldson’s confidence is high enough right now that it’s no wonder he tried this in-game against a good, not great Iowa defense. He was the best player on the floor Saturday, finishing with 18 points and 5 assists to lead Michigan to its 2nd win in conference play, 85-83.
This is Donaldson’s 3rd year in college basketball after playing a role for Bruce Pearl’s Auburn squads across the past few years. He saw about 20 minutes per game for the Tigers in 2024, thriving as a 3-point shooter and sneaky-impressive playmaker while sharing the lead guard role with freshman PG Aden Holloway.
Michigan is now 8-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. Dusty May, who coached for FAU during their run to the Final Four a few years ago, is impressing early during his first year in Ann Arbor.
Michigan is back in action on Tuesday, travelling to New York City to face off against John Calipari and the Razorbacks at MSG.
