Michigan got two for the price of one.

Twin defensive backs Gemon and German Green announced their pledge to the Wolverines on Thursday afternoon.

The three-star cornerbacks hail from DeSoto, Texas, which is a relatively new recruiting ground for Jim Harbaugh at Michigan.  Michigan only landed one Texas recruit in Harbaugh’s three previous classes.

Both are listed as 6-2.

Gemon Green is rated the No. 32 cornerback and No. 340 player overall in the 2018 class while his twin brother, German, is the No. 84 cornerback and No. 933 player overall in the 2018 class.

Gemon has offers from the likes of Baylor, Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU, Texas and others. German has offers from the likes of Colorado, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and others.

With the addition of the Green twins, Michigan’s 2018 class is now up to seven commitments, five of which are from either Georgia or Texas.

Michigan is up to No. 6 in the B1G and No. 12 overall in the 247sports class rankings.
