After leaving the game in the first quarter with an injury, a new update has been released on Michigan defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson.

Per Angeliqu Chengelis of The Detroit News, Hutchinson is “out indefinitely.”

It’s unclear if he’s going to miss the rest of the season but that’s still a big blow to the Wolverines defense.

Coming into this game against Indiana, Hutchinson had 13 total tackles this season (nine solo). He also had one pass deflection as well. For his career, he has 93 total tackles with 48 of them being solo.

Wolverines fans were hoping he could potentially come back in the second half of today’s game but he was spotted in street clothes during the third quarter.

His loss will definitely be felt next week as Michigan welcomes the #10 ranked Wisconsin Badgers to Ann Arbor.

That game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be shown on ABC.
