Michigan’s DeVante’ Jones will miss the remainder of the Round of 32 game against Tennesse. The news was reported after halftime in Indianapolis.

Jones missed Michigan’s first-round game against Colorado State on Thursday because of concussion protocol. He was cleared on Friday and made the trip to Ann Arbor to Indianapolis for Saturday’s second-round contest.

Midway through the first half, Jones left the game and did not return. The report indicated that Jones was ill and would be unable to participate in the remainder of the game.

Jones exited the game with 2 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. For the season, the senior guard averaged 10.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

Michigan and Tennessee are battling for a trip to the Sweet 16 on CBS.
