As the saying goes, if you can’t beat them, join them. Could Michigan possibly listen to that cliché?

According to the Sports Betting AG books, yes, it’s possible. Based on their betting lines after Week 4, former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is fifth-most likely coach to replace Jim Harbaugh at Michigan should the Wolverines choose to fire their beleaguered coach.

Meyer is behind Bronco Mendenhall, David Shaw, Kyle Whittingham and Dino Babers.

It’s probably not fair to compare Michigan to Florida State because the Seminoles football program appears to be in a lot worse shape, but in the same tweet, Sports Betting AG released its odds of who could be Florida State’s next head coach should the Seminoles decide to move on from Dino Babers. Meyer popped up on that list too, receiving the fifth-highest odds.

Joining him on that list was Nebraska coach Scott Frost, who came in as the seventh-likeliest to become Florida State’s head coach.
