Jim Harbaugh couldn’t contain his excitement about Kareem Walker.
After the nation’s top running back recruit in the country committed to Michigan on Thursday, Harbaugh gave him a proper welcome on Friday.
Welcome to the family, @_KareemWalker! This is the start of a long and trusting friendship. Time to get to work! pic.twitter.com/1JlvbC1Ond

As an early enrollee, Walker will get a chance to make his presence felt at Ann Arbor in the spring semester. The four-star New Jersey native was originally committed to Ohio State but decommitted from Urban Meyer’s squad last month.
Walker was one of a few Wolverines that officially became early enrollees on Friday.
Brandon Peters, a four-star pro-style quarterback, was also welcomed as an early enrollee while Walker’s future backfield mate, Kingston Davis will be on campus this spring, as well.

With hype already through the roof for Harbaugh’s first true recruiting class, Michigan fans should get a glimpse of the future as early as the spring game.
