Michigan’s revenge tour kept rolling right along Saturday, this time with a 42-7 dismantling off Penn State. The Nittany Lions never stood a chance as the Wolverines defense limited Penn State to less than 200 yards of total offense.
As a part of the struggles, quarterback Trace McSorley was held in check all afternoon. He completed just 5-of-13 passes for 83 yards and an interception and was ineffective on the ground.
After a 42-13 loss to the Nittany Lions in 2017, this win had to feel a bit sweeter for Jim Harbaugh’s squad. Star DE Chase Winovich even rubbed a little salt in the wound on the sideline.
He was seen mocking some of McSorley’s signature celebrations late in the game. The BTN shared the video of Winovich’s version of McSorley’s moves:
