WATCH: College GameDay gets into heated exchange about Michigan-Notre Dame

It’s rivalry week.
Hatred is in the air.
Michigan-Ohio State, Alabama-Auburn, Florida-Florida State. You name it.
ESPN’s College GameDay is on site for Michigan-Ohio State. Again, hatred. However, this clip from the GameDay crew didn’t necessarily involve hatred.
It was more of an intense discussion about No. 4 Michigan and No. 3 Notre Dame.

Would Michigan have enough on its resume to de-throne Notre Dame for that No. 3 spot?
Some may not think it really matters. However, if No. 5 Georgia were to beat No. 1 Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, things could get shaky. Potentially, Michigan or Notre Dame could get left out.
Would the discussion between the Wolverines and Fighting Irish begin and end with the fact that the two teams played each other in Week 1 and Notre Dame came out victorious?
We may find out in a couple weeks.
