Everybody knows that Charles Woodson was a stud at Michigan.

After all, as mainly a defensive player, he won the Heisman Trophy in 1997. It was a different game back then, but regardless, that’s pretty dang impressive.

As many also know about Woodson, he is one of the representatives — it appears — for the Nissan Heisman House. You’ve probably seen him in a commercial before.

Here’s a new one:

No other former Big Ten Heisman winner may have appeared, but, that makes Woodson even that much more special. After his playing days at Michigan, he went on to have an immensely successful career in the NFL.

Woodson eventually won a Super Bowl, led the league in interceptions twice, was a pro bowler, was named to the First-Team All-Pro, you get the point. He spent 18 years in the NFL, splitting time with the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.

If all goes well for Woodson and the Wolverines this season, maybe Michigan makes a run at a Big Ten title and potentially a spot in the College Football Playoff.

That, and QB Shea Patterson leading the charge — picking up another Heisman Trophy for the Wolverines.
