Jim Harbaugh was happy to leave Purdue with a 28-10 win over the Boilermakers last Saturday. Actually, he was actually happy to just get the heck out of West Lafayette.
During his Monday press conference, Harbaugh talked about the visitor accommodations and locker room at Ross-Ade Stadium. And just a few seconds into a two-minute rant, you can tell the head coach wasn’t a huge fan.
Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News captured Harbaugh’s rant in the video below.

“It didn’t seem sanitary. You were all in there,” Harbaugh told reporters on Monday. “I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the actual table that’s given to the visitors for players who are injured. I mean, it looks like it’s from the 20s.”
Harbaugh also went on to say that he never saw anything this extreme in the Pac-12 and stated that Don Brown also never had an experience quite like this during his ACC days.
After the win over the Boilermakers, Harbaugh said that Purdue’s visiting locker room didn’t have air conditioning and players were given the option to sit on an air-conditioned bus prior to the game to cool down. Wilton Speight also had to be taken to a medical facility a few blocks away for X-rays, as Purdue didn’t have proper accommodations on site.
Harbaugh said he talked to AD Warde Manuel and hopes that the B1G implements a standard for all 14 programs regarding visitor accommodations and locker rooms.
Clearly, Purdue has some major upgrading to do.
