Jimmy Kerr came up with a big hit against Texas Tech on Saturday, and he’s notched another important RBI in Michigan’s Monday night clash with Florida State.

In the top of the 5th inning, Kerr stepped to the plate with runners on first and third and hit a ground ball between the second and third base gap. The ball shot into the outfield and scored the runner from third, giving the Wolverines a 2-0 lead midway through the contest.

That’s the second big hit for Kerr in the College World Series. On Saturday, recorded a two-run triple in the 3rd inning against Texas Tech in what was a three-run inning for the Wolverines.

Kerr’s hit gave Michigan a 3-0 lead early in the game. The Wolverines defeated Texas Tech 5-3.
