A lot of hype surrounded QB Shea Patterson transferring from Ole Miss and joining Michigan.

Jim Harbaugh and Andrew Luck comparisons were made, as Patterson was a massive 5-star recruit coming out of high school. Finally, Harbaugh had a legitimate talent able to sling the football around.

On Saturday night, Michigan and Wisconsin were in the second quarter in Ann Arbor and Patterson showed part of why he was so highly regarded. Except, it wasn’t with his arm.

It was with his legs:

Patterson ran for 81 yards on this play to end up just outside the end-zone. Fortunately for him and the rest of the Wolverines, Michigan punched it in just two plays later to take a 7-0 lead in the second quarter against the Badgers.

After the 2-yard TD run by RB Karan Higdon, the tailback showed his strength to Wisconsin DL Andrew Van Ginkel:

The game can be seen on ABC.
