Michigan running back Karan Higdon continues to be a huge asset for the offense.

Higdon has come up with several big plays and long runs this season, and he did it again against the Rutgers defense. On the second play of the fourth quarter, the Wolverines’ ball-carrier was able to blow past the Scarlet Knights and sprinted 49 yards to the end zone to give his team a three-touchdown lead.

It was Higdon’s second rushing touchdown of the afternoon.

Higdon entered Saturday’s game as the team’s leading rusher, tallying 446 yards and six touchdowns on 85 carries this season.

He also eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the second time this season against Rutgers.
