Nobody has been able to slow down Karan Higdon lately.

Over the last three games, the Michigan running back has rushed for 403 yards and six touchdowns, showing off a nice combination of speed and power in the process. That continued against Minnesota.

In the first half, Higdon took a handoff and bolted past the Gophers defense, trotting 77 yards for the touchdown. The real work was done by the offensive line, which opened up a huge hole for the ball-carrier to run through.

For the season, Higdon had 604 yards and eight touchdowns on 103 carries this season. He’s quickly emerged as Michigan’s top option at running back and has eclipsed the 150-yard mark twice in the past three weeks.

Higdon eclipsed that mark in the first half against Minnesota.
