This one was a lot closer than what many would’ve thought.

Despite owning a 20-10 lead early in the fourth quarter, Michigan allowed Indiana to get back into the game and force overtime with a 46-yard field goal attempt from Griffin Oakes. It wasn’t the finish Wolverines fans had hoped for.

In overtime, Karan Higdon wasted little time putting Michigan back in front, scoring on the first play of the game from 25 yards out. It would wind up to be the game-winning touchdown for the maize and blue.

Higdon finished the afternoon with 200 yards and three touchdowns against the Hoosiers.

Michigan improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. Indiana dropped to 3-3 on the year and is still searching for its first B1G win of the season.
