WATCH: Shea Patterson, Nico Collins flashing mid-season form with deep connection in camp
It sure looks like this duo is ready for a big year in Ann Arbor.
Michigan’s offense is returning a lot of talent and depth throughout. Among those returners is starting quarterback Shea Patterson and wide receiver Nico Collins.
Patterson shined in 2018 with 2,600 yards passing and 22 TDs to just 7 interceptions. His efficiency was a big reason for the Wolverines’ success, and he will get to work with one of his top returning targets this year in Collins.
Collins led the team with 632 receiving yards last year while finishing second in catches and receiving touchdowns. After making a huge jump from his freshman to sophomore seasons, expectations are rising that Collins could make an even bigger leap as a junior.
The duo could be downright lethal in 2019, and they showed a bit of their easy rhythm on this play:

Hopefully, the Wolverines see a lot more of this throughout the year.
