WATCH: Shea Patterson’s nifty scramble sets up TD throw to Donovan Peoples-Jones

Michigan is cruising against Maryland after a slow start to the game.

The Wolverines once again came out of the gate a bit sluggish against the Terrapins. Michigan managed just three points in the first quarter but the defense played well from the jump. It took the offense a while to catch up, but the Wolverines are now cruising in the fourth quarter.

This play looked like it may be thrown for a big loss early on as multiple pass rushers broke through the line. Though Shea Patterson appeared bottled up, he escaped to his left before finding Donovan Peoples-Jones down the sideline. He hit Peoples-Jones with a strike, and People-Jones took care of the rest, splitting a seam and going the distance.

It was an impressive play on both ends for the Wolverines and gave them a 27-7 lead. Michigan on BTN shared the video of the score:
