WATCH: This may be the last ‘Philly Special’ try of Tom Brady’s career

There’s no denying Tom Brady is the best quarterback in NFL history. However, his skills as a receiver leave a lot to be desired.
The New England Patriots suffered a 34-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon. It was a bad loss by most standards, and this play punctuated the lackluster performance.
Facing a 3rd-and-7 in the fourth quarter, the Patriots turned to their version of the “Philly Special” play. What began as a run play turned into a reverse to Julian Edelman with Brady sneaking out of the backfield as a receiver.
Edelman’s pass was accurate, and Brady hauled it in. Unfortunately, that is where the highlight ended. Brady stumbled to the ground, falling just short of a first down on the play.
The NFL shared the video of the play:

Luckily Brady has a few Super Bowl rings to help him feel better.
