Saturday’s Michigan-Michigan State might’ve been one of the more emotional and most intense head-to-head games in the rivalry in years.
Before the game, there was a pre-game scuffle, UM linebacker Devin Bush stomped on the Spartan head logo and there was plenty of back-and-forth between the fans. And the feud didn’t stop after the Wolverines’ 21-7 win over the Spartans.
In the post-game press conference, Jim Harbaugh called Michigan State “bush league” for walking across the field before the game and “clotheslining” his players. He also stated that Dantonio was smiling while his team started the scuffle.
When Dantonio was asked about Harbaugh’s comments, he called the claims “B.S.” and told reporters to check the tape.
Well, the tape doesn’t look too great for Dantonio. One video appears to show Dantonio smiling behind his team as some words are exchanged with Michigan players. You have to look to the far right, and it’s tough to see, but it does appear that the Spartans head coach is smiling.
The video is below. What do you think?
