'We know your ankle's messed up': Michigan TE Erick All reveals what Penn State player said to him Saturday
No. 6 Michigan knew they would be in a tough fight with their East rivals in Penn State on the road. On offense, Michigan knew to stick their conservative gameplan to outduel Penn State’s efficient defense.
One impact player for Michigan’s offense is tight end Erick All, who practiced all week with a hurt ankle. He was even hurting before the game versus Penn State.
According to All, Penn State linebacker Ellis Brooks was trash-tackling to All mentioning that Penn State knew about the hurt ankle. All would go on to catch four receptions for 64 yards and the game-winning touchdown. That touchdown was a 47-yard passing play from quarterback Cade McNamara to put Michigan up 21-17 with 3:29 left in the game.
Erick All: "One of the plays. No. 13 (Ellis Brooks), he told me, ‘We’ve been scouting you. We know your ankle’s messed up. You ain’t going nowhere.’ Like trying to get in my head.”

While Brooks got his laugh during the game, it was All and Michigan that got the last laugh with the big road victory.
