After a bye week, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh looks ahead to a matchup Saturday against Northwestern. The Wolverines enter the contest with a perfect 6-0 record and are 3-0 in the B1G.

First, Harbaugh discusses injuries on the team to Roman Wilson, Trevor Keegan, and Chuck Filiaga:

Harbaugh also discussed the George Jewett Trophy which is given to the winner of the game. Jewett was the first African-American player at both Michigan and Northwestern:

Coming out of the off week, Harbaugh was impressed with how his team practice. He said it was one of the best he’s seen of the season, especially after a few days off to recover.

Last year because of the Big Ten’s shortened schedule, the two didn’t meet.

Michigan owns a 6-game winning streak against Northwestern, with the Wildcats’ last victory in the head-to-head series coming in 2008. Pat Fitzgerald’s team enters the contest with a 3-3 record following a win over Rutgers.
